No Needle, No Problem: DIY Leather Dice Bag (No Sew + A Free Template!)

Whether you're gearing up for game night or just tired of loose dice rolling around your satchel, this no-sew dice bag is the perfect quick project. No stitching, no stress - just a few simple tools and you're ready to roll (pun intended).

Instructions

Trace your template onto the back (suede side) of the leather, mark your lace hole placements, and cut out your circle. Using a rotary punch or hand punch, create your lace holes along the edge.

Locate the front of your bag — this is where the two holes are closer together. Starting with the left hole in that pair, push your lace through from the suede side so the end comes out on the finished side. From there, begin weaving your lace using an over-under pattern through each hole. For a fun, personalized touch, you can add beads or charms as you go!

Continue lacing all the way around the circle. Your final hole should line up with the first, with the lace again coming through from the suede side to the finished side. While the bag is still lying flat, tie a knot at the end of your lace to prevent it from slipping back through the holes when open.

And that’s it - you’re done! 🎉
