Over the course of 2 hours of video tutorial, Lougaya will clearly and precisely explain how to make moccasins that truly fit the morphology of each individual child.

Moccasins are soft-soled shoes (barefoot shoes) that act and feel just like a second skin. They are perfect for protecting the feet from sharp objects, dirt, etc., while simultaneously allowing them to feel the ground’s texture. Constructed of 100% leather, you can wear them outdoors as much as indoors.
“The Kids” moccasins are wonderful for young ones as their softness and flexibility don’t put any constraint on the soft and growing feet of children. Wearing such shoes, kids gain in balance, confidence, and ease in their movements.
Their simple design with laces around the ankle allows to securely tighten the shoes without squishing the toes at the front. The shoes can be made bigger at first, the laces will permit to easily adjust the size and follow up with the fast growth of children.

Lougaya is a young craftswoman from France who started making custom-made moccasins in 2016 while living in Australia. She used to sell her shoes at local craft and farmers’ markets and while traveling. Over the years, she has not only gained experience and skill in the making of moccasins but in teaching her craft in many live workshops to small groups of amateurs around the globe.
