Carpincho, also known as capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris), is the world's largest rodent. Farm-raised in South America, its leather is prized for its soft, supple feel and exceptional durability. All of our carpincho leather is sourced from certified farm-raised animals and is legally imported into the United States in compliance with CITES Appendix II and all applicable federal, state, and international regulations.
