Caimans are crocodilians, or large semiaquatic predatory reptiles, found only in Central and South America. Caimans are farm-raised for their meat, and their hides are used for high-end leather products.

- Tails:
- 3.5" x 7" - This is the smallest size you may receive with a tip.
- 4" x 5" - This is the smallest size you may recieve with no tip.
- Tapers to a point
- 3.5" x 7" - This is the smallest size you may receive with a tip.
- Crowns:
- 2" x 4" - This is the smallest size you may receive.
- Sides:
- 2.5" x 11" - This is the smallest single strip piece you may recieve. Each sides will have two strip pieces.
- Tails:
- Thickness: 3.5 - 5 OZ (1.4- 2.0 MM) Note that the Crown pieces may be up to 10 oz at the thickest points.
- Temper: Semi-Stiff
- Texture: Natural Grain
- Finish: Satin
- Tannage: Chrome Tan
- Blemishes: There may be small holes along each side.
- Low Grade: Any pieces labeled with low grade may have rips, holes, and discoloration.
